This years conference will be returning to
Bilbao, the Basque Country, Spain from 5-
7June 2023.
PAvCon 2023 has gone from strength to strength yet
again! This years show has surpassed expectations
judging by the favourable feedback received from
exhibitors and delegates alike. Even the weather was
good, with hot sunshine throughout!

stunning!
The training day, held on Monday (while exhibitors set
up) was a huge success with many new faces attending. The various topics covered by Harald Brink
and Luc Stremersch, who have a wide ranging
knowledge, were supported by speakers from different
backgrounds. The aim of the training day, to pass this
knowledge on in a manner that all attending can
understand and use in real life situations.
The exhibition, held in the hanger at the Basque Police
Air Support Unit, Durango, was clean and spacious with
room a plenty for the exhibitors to show off their
wares. The views from the open hanger doors was
stunning, what an office to work in for those few days!
A big thank you goes out to the hosts of the event in
particular to Joseba Mendizabal, who helped to facilitate
the event and acted as the ‘go between’ when sorting out
logistics. Another big thank you goes to the sponsors,
without them there would be no PAvCon. The speakers too,
deserve a mention. They are invaluable in passing on their
knowledge to others and last but not least, the whole
PAvCon team who tirelessly put the ‘show on the road’.
